Privacy Policy
What we save, what we use it for, and which providers help us run GoSupportIt.

GoSupportIt is operated by Digital Vibes GmbH. This page explains what information we collect when you use our website, sign in to the app, or submit feedback through a public board or widget.
What We Save
If you create an account or sign in, we use Clerk for authentication and organization management. Clerk handles sign-in and session management for us. We also store a copy of selected account data in Convex, such as your Clerk user ID, email address, name, avatar URL, role, and the organization you are working in.
If you create or manage a project, we store project settings in Convex, including the project name, slug, theme, widget configuration, roadmap stages, and tag setup.
If you submit feedback, vote, or comment, we store the content needed to run the board: ticket titles, descriptions, status, roadmap stage, comments, vote counts, timestamps, and whether a post is public or private. When provided, we may also store your name, email address, external user ID, and end-user tags.
For anonymous visitors on public boards, we store a browser-side viewer ID in local storage and use it to prevent duplicate votes and keep a consistent public-session state.
Public Content Warning
Public boards are designed to make selected feedback visible to other visitors. If you post on a public board, your ticket title, description, votes, and public comments may be visible to anyone who can access that board. Please do not submit secrets, payment data, or other sensitive information through public forms.
How We Use Your Data
We use your information to provide the service, authenticate users, organize teams, show public boards, process votes and comments, operate widgets, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
We may also use limited analytics data to understand which pages are used, which onboarding steps convert, and which product flows need improvement.
Third-Party Services We Use
Clerk powers authentication, session handling, and organization management. That means Clerk may process account details such as email addresses, profile information, organization membership, and session cookies needed to keep you signed in.
Convex is our application backend and database. We store product data in Convex, including user profiles, projects, tickets, comments, votes, and related metadata.
DataFast is used for product and website analytics. It may receive pageview and event data. In our current app, we also identify signed-in users to DataFast with a stable user identifier plus profile fields such as name and avatar so we can understand usage across sessions.
Vercel Analytics is also enabled on the site. We use it for aggregated traffic insights. According to Vercel, its web analytics product is designed to work without third-party cookies and uses aggregated data by default.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
Clerk uses session cookies to keep authenticated users signed in. DataFast may use its own visitor and session identifiers for analytics. GoSupportIt also stores a local viewer ID in your browser for public voting and board interactions. If you disable cookies or local storage, some parts of the service may not work correctly.
Retention
We keep data for as long as it is needed to operate the service, maintain project history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some data may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion.
Your Choices
If you want to access, correct, or delete your data, contact us at hello@gosupport.it. If you submitted feedback to a customer board, we may need to coordinate the request with the team that operates that board.
